mit is a conceptual art photographer and worldbuilding artist from Hokkaido, Japan.
Her practice combines costume creation, photography, and visual storytelling to build otherworldly narratives. Through light, composition, color, and handmade costumes, she visualizes invisible states such as memory, prayer, loss, transformation, and inner emotion.
Beginning with concept photography inspired by existing narratives, her work is now expanding toward original IP and long-term worldbuilding projects. She creates images that leave space for interpretation, inviting viewers into a quiet depth of thought rather than offering a single fixed answer.
She presents her work through exhibitions, workshops, and collaborations in Japan and abroad.

衣装制作・写真・物語表現を横断し、異界的な視覚世界を構築するコンセプトアートフォトグラファー／世界観作家。
人物の内面、記憶、祈り、喪失、変容といった目に見えない領域を、衣装・光・構図・色彩を通して視覚化する。
既存作品の解釈を起点にしたコンセプトフォトから、現在はオリジナルIPを軸にした作品制作へと活動を展開。
国内外で展示やワークショップを行い、写真を単なる記録ではなく、物語と世界観の入口として提示している。

Photographer, art director, hair makeup, costumer, and translator born in Hokkaido, Japan.

2016, Published “NON-ART COSPLAY PHOTOGRAPHY”, Held group exhibition “NON-ART” in Kyoto international manga museum
5th solo exhibition “END WELL METHOD” Tokyo, Taipei and Hanoi

2018-2019, The project “world shooting traveling”, visited 30 countries and 50 cities alone, having a photo shoot with local models.

2019, Group exhibition guesting at Pingyao International Photo Festival in China
2022, Guesting Cosnavi Legacy group exhibition in Tokyo
2024, 7th solo exhibition “The Weal or Woe” Ha noi, HCM city, Tokyo, Singapore, and Bangkok. Guesting Fuyu Matsuri in Vietnam, AniEx in Thailand.
2025, 8th solo exhibition ”The Path of the Traveler” Tokyo and Cebu. Guesting acosta! Taipei, AniManGaki in Malaysia, Ambedo Fiesta6 in Vietnam.
2026, Guesting acosta! Kaohsuing, Taipei, Seoul. Hosting a talk at Animefest Czech.
