TOKYO Exhibition

TOKYO 20th September – 26th September 2016

” In that spring, master was gone. ”
The 3 pieces of pictures which hang at the far back of the gallery, with the cherry blossom petals, was the theme of this exhibition.
Since the most of the visitors could be easy to empathize Kasyu Kiyomitsu as a first sword, this story set him for the first one.

I set one big trick and some small tricks in this exhibition to entertain visitors.
One of you who came to the gallery may know what I said, that’s why this exhibition noted “Please open the photobook AFTER seeing the exhibition.”
You might have recognized two stories in that place.
I was smiling behind the visitors who finally figure out the stories at the end of the photos then back to the way toward the entrance to find the second story.

The term of exhibition this year, unfortunately, it had been rainy days for 6 days from Tuesday to Saturday,
but eventually we’ve gotten sunny day on the last exhibition, Sunday.
This weather situation was matched with the theme “END WELL METHOD,” sort of.
The surprising was the flower which was the gift from my models, has vines the back side, sprouting the leaves because of the sunshine.

Some of the visitors said “attended to exhibition” ( sounds like to attend funeral ) instead of saying visiting, it was honor to me since I could recognize that they caught my theme in right way.
I also set the trick in the photobook: the visitor might want to come back to the exhibition again after they finish to see the exhibition then take a look the photobook.
Therefore, it was greatly appreciated some of the visitors came twice or third times to see my exhibition during the term.

Actually I’m talking about this topic every year though, what is important for me to have an exhibition is to give valuable experience throughout this event. The exhibition should be worth to come in my opinion even people who are not used to come, therefore I’m always thinking about how can I entertain audiences using my artworks.
It’s totally depending on people whether the art is impressed for them or not, but It’s glad if they are interested in exhibition itself.

It was first time to exhibit costumes scince I made lots of them this time, but it was good these made visitors fun.
Actually, the costumes were exhibited along the wall in Taipei, the back side of costumes could been seen only in Tokyo due to the circumstances of exhibition.

I was worried since this time had been raining almost all period, but really appreciated the bunch of people came to see even the bad weather.
Also, thank you for y’all cooperation and understanding for the admission restriction especially on the weekend.
I’ve read all of your letters both giving to me and  posted at the box in my exhibition with greatful.
“END WELL METHOD” could be succeed because of you; who came from abroad of course, came to gallery only for this purpose, came with your friends…
It was the time to be rewarded to me not only came to exhibition but also people left me warm message.
Thank you for lots of warm letter, beautiful flowers, and phenomenal gifts.

 TAIPEI Exhibition

TAIPEI  6th October – 8th October 2016

Taipei exhibition was the largest gallery this year.
The huge tapestry, actually, made for Taipei exhibition that the size would be the most fit for it.
You could see toudan with full of your view if you came to Taipei (in Vietnam too, at the end.)
Learned from the previous year, I chose the larger gallery this time, but sorry for visitors waiting outside for a long time for all days due to the admission restriction. Especially on the last day, it was a terribly heavy rain, thank you all following to staffs and making waiting lines.
Thank you for the kindness to us, some visitors gave us tissues and umbrellas since we were all getting wet…

Nine of models came to Taipei exhibition as staffs with different schedules, it was greatly appreciate.

 HA NOI Exhibition

HA NOI  29th October – 30th October 2016

Lots of friends in Vietnam helped me this year too.
At the workshop on 29th, hope I made it better than the last year…couldn’t stop to be nervous though.

Thank you for all who supported me such as distributing flyers and shared on SNS.
It was honor to me to get chance to be known with your cooperation.
I have to give 17 models enormous thanks to support me for a year working as staffs and of course as models for shooting. It was incredibly nice team, and love them all.

Glad to hear some visitors said that “we should go back to home.(means honmaru)”
Hope to reach people who haven’t played Touken Ranbu yet, and make a chance to know this world.
Lastly, thank you for team of creators who brought Touken Ranbu to us, it was absolutely wonderful works and we are greatly appreciate to meet this title.
